🌶️ Small towns & kink — It’s Release Day!

Published 4 months ago • 3 min read

Hey Reader,

It's release day for me and I'm feeling equal parts excited and anxious. I've been working on some serials and editing projects, but this one had a deadline so it took priority.

Do you ever set deadlines for yourself and then just ignore them? Uh, yeah, me too 🤣

This new release has an impulsive heroine, a hero who can't stop thinking about her (even when he doesn't want to), and plenty of steamy action. Plus, there's actually a plot...kind of.

Hey, I think we can all agree that sex is a pretty solid plot, am I right? It’s how they get to know each other!

It's part of a multi-author collab featuring M/F relationships and kink? And don't worry, I resisted the urge to make it MMF or about aliens (this time). But stay tuned because there's a sequel coming soon, where it’s entirely possible that the couple from this book begins a spicy journey with one of their friends!

Okay, enough rambling, go check out my hot new release! 🔥

Happy Reading,

Kristin

“Four years is a long time to hang on to daydreams, but when they finally come true and exceed your expectations, perhaps it was worth the wait. When Mira sees Gunnar for the first time in years, there’s a bit of an awkward moment when she finds him setting up for a very special party. Although Gunnar tries to scare her away, she surprises him with her eagerness to explore this new lifestyle, if he’s willing to show her the ropes. Gunnar is an ideal Dom. He’s not so much into punishment as pleasure, and Mira’s excitement is like catnip to his desires. No matter what he throws at her, she’s ready to accept and revels in his dominance, making her his ideal pet. Their exploration of certain toys at the bookstore munch was super-hot!”

Third Wheel

Mira is my ride or die, my soulmate, my partner in crime. We're like two peas in a pod, and even our faults complement each other. Together, we run a quaint little bookstore in Hazy Cove, our own little paradise in the Pacific Northwest. And I’m madly in love with her.

The only thing marring perfection? Her annoying, alpha-hole of a husband, Gunnar.

Yeah, I’m the ultimate third wheel.

To make matters worse, Mira wants Gunnar and I to be friends and is always trying to set up our bromance.

Let’s be real, two men couldn’t be any different: Gunnar owns a motorcycle shop, I own a bookstore. Gunnar has tattoos, I… well, okay I also have tattoos, but mine are intellectual. And we can't agree on anything.

But as much as I want to hate him, Mira adores him and can't seem to see past his overbearing ways. So when she begs me to come along on their next adventure, a camping trip in the wilderness, how can I say no? I know things will be awkward, but I can never deny her anything.

But on our camping trip, Gunnar tough guy facade finally cracks, revealing that he’s different than I ever expected. He’s oddly sweet, bisexual, and definitely into sharing his wife with me.

Suddenly, I’m in way too deep — I’m even more in love with her and he’s on his knees, asking for something I never expected to give. I might want both of them.

But that’s not a thing… is it?

Preorder coming soon!

In Case You Missed It:

I just saw this review and it made me smile, so I had to share it. Just, I guess, make sure you finish your chores first. 💀

Swords Will Cross (In Space)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“I wasn't sure what to expect and have a lot of unfinished books in my tbr pile. Figured I would just read a little to see what it was since author said humor. Well joke is on me. I didn’t finish my housechores and errands but I did finish the books. It was surprisingly enjoyable. Yes there is lots of spice (if you only want handholding don't read) but there is humor and layered plots...three different throuple family units in 4 books.”

Hey Reader, I’ve spent the last month working on some stories, including a third book in my “Room for More” series, and a brand new alien series that’s part of a fun Fourth of July collab. Because what says aliens if not Fourth of July? Also, for those of you who haven’t read Double or Nothing yet, or read it when it first came out, I wanted to let you know that I had a family emergency the day that was supposed to be uploaded to Amazon, so there were some errors in the original manuscript....

Hey Reader, I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has been supportive over the past year or so — my personal life has been a challenge, but I always have the stories to come back to. Writing has been my escape, and hearing from readers has lifted my spirits more than you can know, especially when my mom became unexpectedly ill and passed away last May. This week, though, was a tough one as a romance writer — I separated from my partner, a man who I might have once thought was...
